The family of Laramie Gegax would like to express their most sincere
appreciation and gratitude to their friends, neighbors and colleagues
for all the food, flowers, cards, companionship, generosity, words of
comfort and donations received in response to the devastating loss of
their daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, and cousin.
The family gives thanks to the faculty, staff and students at New Mexico State University for their donations and support; to Las Cruces Mothers and More for their meals and support; to the Las Alturas Volunteer Fire Department personnel and the Memorial Medical Center’s emergency room staff for their efforts; to Getz Funeral Home for their attention and wonderful service; to the staff at Mesilla Valley Hospice for all the help they have given the family with its grief; and to Mike Kelley for putting this memorial website together.
The family also gives special thanks to all of Laramie’s friends whom she loved dearly and to the faculty and staff at Tombaugh Elementary School: Your dedication to, and positive influence over, the children of Las Cruces is invaluable and your compassion given to Laramie’s family will never be forgotten.
